However our services extend beyond traditional publishing. Understanding the growing trend of self-publishing, we offer a comprehensive suite of services tailored to the needs of independent authors. From meticulous editing to seamless publishing and strategic book marketing, we empower authors to take control of their publishing journey.

We do accept manuscripts and make an effort to read all of them. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to read every manuscript, and we also cannot guarantee that we will be able to publish your manuscript as a refined book. Your manuscript should meet our criteria, and if it is selected, we will reach out to you or your literary agent for the next steps in the process.

Our primary focus is to publish a broad spectrum of fictional books, encompassing all major genres including but not limited to Science Fiction, Mystery, Thriller, Romance, Westerns, Dystopian, and Contemporary. We have a deep commitment to storytelling and aim to bring diverse and compelling narratives to our readers. Although our main emphasis is on fiction, we are also open to exploring non-fiction, self-help, and poetry submissions. However, these will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Our decision to publish in these categories will be guided by the quality, originality, and market potential of each individual work.

That depends on the route you intend to take. For instance, if you go through the traditional publishing route, you must submit your manuscript. If we accept the manuscript, we will present a contract; once the contract has been signed, we will start the process of editing, publishing, and marketing your book without costing you anything.

However, if we cannot accept your manuscript, you may self-publish through us, but that will be an out-of-pocket expense on your behalf. You will have to pay for editing, publishing, and marketing services. The silver lining is that you get to keep all the profits your book reaps.

For authors who are signed with Lucid Paradox, we ensure they have a contract outlining the terms of our collaboration. As per our agreement, we will receive a percentage of the book’s profits, but we will also cover the costs of editing, publishing, and marketing the book upfront.

Also, Lucid Paradox will receive service compensation from authors who decide to go through the self-publishing process. Although we will not reap any profits from the book sales, the competitive packages we offer will be our primary source of revenue for authors who decide to self-publish through us.

The percentage of royalties and the distribution timeline will be determined through negotiation and specified in the contract agreement.

Each book is unique and may require a tailored approach. Factors such as genre, theme, writing style, and grammar will influence our process. However, we typically provide developmental, structural, editorial, line editing, copy editing, and proofreading services and ensure your book is ready for the next stage in the process.
